Care Instructions
Look after it well and it will outlast the trend.
Solid wood & teak
Dust with a soft dry cloth. Wipe spills immediately. Keep out of direct sunlight and away from heaters. Apply a natural wood conditioner twice a year to keep the grain from drying.
Cane & rattan
Vacuum gently with a brush attachment. In very dry months, a light mist of water helps the fibres stay supple.
Linen & cotton
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Do not bleach. Line dry in shade — direct sun fades natural dyes.
Jute rugs
Vacuum weekly without a beater bar. Blot spills, never rub. Rotate every few months so the pile wears evenly.
Marble & travertine
Use coasters. Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap — acidic cleaners will etch the surface permanently.
Brass
Brass develops a natural patina. If you prefer the original shine, polish occasionally with a dedicated brass cleaner.
